Gift cards are convenient, but there’s no rule saying they have to look convenient.
This wood holder turns the presentation into part of the gift. The layered sunglasses create the front of the design, with the recipient’s name engraved beside them. Slide the front open and the gift card appears underneath.
The back gives you another place to personalize it. Add a message for the recipient, a little encouragement, or something that makes sense for the occasion. The pictured version says “Bright days ahead… a little something to help you shine,” but the message can be changed.
Once the gift card comes out, the holder doesn’t suddenly become useless. The personalization and sliding design give it enough personality to stick around as a small keepsake.
And really, gift cards have spent enough years being handed over in boring little envelopes.
